Frequently Asked Questions

Should I use a make-up + hair stylist?

Yes yes yes!  You're getting photos taken to document a special moment in your life.  Photos that you will show your friends, family, + generations to come.  You want to make sure that your hair + make-up are on point!  Not to mention that it can be pretty stressful prepping everything yourself.  So I would suggest adjusting your budget to get your hair + makeup done professionally.  Pamper yourself.

Do you do photo previews so I can pick out which photos I get edited?

No.   My packages are all inclusive (except special promotions), so I will edit and deliver every photo I believe is worthy and my best work.  I don't believe in holding any photos back that could be sitting on your mantlepiece so rest assured you are getting the best images of your session.

Under in special reduced price packages will there be a 'cap' on the amount of photos delivered.  These limited are selected by Suzy-Lou Photography.

How long will it take for you to edit my photos?

It will take me about 1-2 weeks from the date of your session to completely edit the photos.  I like to take my time and focus on each photo. And I also have many other clients I am working with, so I kindly ask for your patience so I may be able to deliver the best product I can to you.

How will payments be handled?

You will be sent an invoice which needs to be paid by your photoshoot session date.  No images will be released to you until the full balance is paid.

How will my photos be delivered to me?

Once your photos have been edited, I will e-mail you a link to your online gallery where you can download and share your images. They are provided in two sizes, web-sized (for social media & email) and high-resolution (for print).

There is also the option of having your images delivered to you via a custom USB drive for an additional $30.  These take a while to be shipped once they are ordered, so there is a waiting period of about 3 weeks.

What is a "print release"?

A print release is an agreement between you (the client) + me (the photographer) in which I give you permission to use my copyrighted images for printing + personal use ONLY.  You must still properly credit me on social media by either posting the image with my watermark on it, or by linking to my Facebook Page or website in the caption.  Commercial licenses allow the client to use the images on their website and in promotional material.
